Description:DIRECTOR OF NURSING (DON), Generations at Oakton

Plaines, IL, has an Opening for a Director of Nursing. Must be a
Registered Nurse (RN). We seek an Inspirational Leader who is

Role with a Salary of $135k - $145k, Plus Potential $30,000
Performance Bonus, Plus full Benefit Package, including 401k

Nursing (DON):Manage the nursing departmentDirect staff and
collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to provide
physical and psychological support to the residents and their
familiesSupervise scheduling of sufficient staff to ensure
uninterrupted service to the residents at all timesDirect
involvement with interviewing and hiring potential employeesAssist
in completing monthly audits of sample EMR charting Review
admissions/referrals and assist in interviewing/selecting residents
for admission with the Administrator's approvalServe as chairperson
of the Quality Assurance Committee and any other committees as
required by existing regulations or as appointed by the
AdministratorPrepare clinical nursing reports for the quarterly
Quality Assurance meetingsPrepare Performance Improvement reports
as required by JCAHO guidelinesSupervise the MDS/Care Plan
CoordinatorIND1Requirements:The Successful Director of Nursing
(DON) Will Bring:Minimum two (2) years of Director of Nursing (DON)
experienceCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of
IllinoisClinical and supervisory experiencePrevious hospital and/or
skilled nursing experienceOutstanding leadership and relationship
building skillsCompassion, tolerance and understanding of older
