qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60615
About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty:
Interventional Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour

Experience: Minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience
in an acute care setting or six months of interventional radiology
nursing experience preferred. Trauma/ER nursing experience is
desirable. License: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in
the State of Illinois Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred)
Must-Have: - Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands
of working as a Radiology Nurse, including wearing a lead apron
weighing approximately 15 lbs., and pushing and pulling greater
than 20 lbs. - Willingness to float to various units if needed Job
Description: - Serve as a critical part of the interventional
radiology team, providing expert care to patients undergoing
procedures. - Facilitate and ensure effective communication among
the entire care team. - Administer medications and monitor
patients' vitals during and post-procedures. - Possess excellent
critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in
high-pressure situations. - Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in
various working environments and units. - Participate in
orientation and training sessions to better support department
needs. - Adhere to all safety protocols, especially when handling
complex equipment and materials. - Support a patient-centered
approach, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the
