Job Description:
A company is looking for a Part B Authorization Specialist to
support their Rehabilitation and Revenue Cycle Departments.
Key Responsibilities
Process requests for prior authorization based on therapy
guidelines and contract criteria
Maintain and update internal databases and ensure information is
current and accessible
Provide training and tools on the prior authorization process to
new hires
Required Qualifications
General understanding of Healthcare Managed Care authorization
process
Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
Ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of daily
requests
Healthcare experience is required
Proficient in using multiple proprietary software applications
