  • Job Details
  • ER Nurses needed for immediate starts in Chicago, IL. Three 12-hour shifts per week and candidates will need at least 1 year of experience in the ER.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have one year of ER experience. Will see fast track patients out of waiting room and may allow travelers to triage if they have experience. ED holds are housed in the main ED area.
      • Schedule Information
      • Three 12-hour shifts per week.
      • Shift & Scheduling: 7-7 for AM and PM. and 3P to 3A. Schedule is made out 4 weeks at a time, overtime is available. Modified self-scheduling.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • ER Physicians/Mid-Levels: 1 ED Physician
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: Depends on experience and comfort level but typically 2-3 shifts with a preceptor.
          • Additional Details
          • Client has profile review process with clinical and candidate will need to complete a questionnaire and reviewed by our clinical team before presentation to the client.
          • Orientation: Every 4th Tuesday of the month ONLY
          • Floating Requirement: None listed
          • Holiday Requirements: Will be assigned to one of two teams for Holidays.
          • On call: CALL occasionally
          • Nurse draw on initial IV start. Repeats will be done by phlebotomy.
          • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Royal Blue
